About the Job
As a retail professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our Big Yellow store in Daventry.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, across any 5 out of 7 days, including early and late shifts that cover the store's opening and closing times.
The Role
- Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers and ensuring their needs are met
- Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, promotions, and visual displays
- Lead a team of retail assistants, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and excellent customer service
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products and promotions
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering excellent customer service
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
