About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Healthcare Trainer to join our team at Pearson. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training programs and assessments to learners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of learners and employers.
  • Assess the work of learners in the virtual and onsite classroom/workplace within set timeframes.
  • Provide constructive, professional, and relevant feedback to learners in relation to their qualification.
  • Develop and maintain accurate learner records, including paper/electronic portfolios.
  • Collaborate with programme managers to monitor learner progress and achievement.
  • Participate in standardization and team meetings to ensure consistency and quality.

About You:

  • You will have extensive experience in training and assessment.
  • You will have a deep understanding of the Ofsted inspection framework and its implications.
  • You will be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • You will hold a recognized sector-specific qualification, such as an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Healthcare.
  • You will possess excellent written communication skills.
  • You will hold relevant certifications, including TAQA/A1/D32/33, V1/D34, and a teaching qualification.
  • You will have knowledge of Apprenticeship standards and their application.
