Rubicon Consulting is seeking a talented Engineering/ Technical Trainer to join their team on a permanent basis, located in Staffordshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the Learning and Development Manager and engineering leads to lead all aspects of engineering training.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Work collaboratively with the Learning and Development Manager and engineering leads to develop and deliver high-quality engineering training programs.
  2. Provide coaching and mentoring to learners, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  3. Develop and advise on technical training content as required, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  4. Support the Apprenticeship scheme, working closely with the Education Providers Lead, Learner, Mentor, and Business Directors to ensure a positive learning experience.
  5. Lead reviews on logbooks and Key Skill Behaviours (KSBs) with Embedded & Digital Apprentices.

Requirements:
  • A strong background in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or relevant experience delivering Electrical Engineering courses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor learners effectively.
  • Able to work with the values of Rubicon Consulting, setting an example for behaviours and contributing to a positive company culture.
  • Appropriate qualification in an Electrical/Electronic/control system/software Engineering related field.

  • A competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
