Mechanical Assembly Specialist

Join the Haas F1 Team as a skilled Final Assembly Operative and contribute to the success of our racing cars. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assembly, servicing, and repair of our race cars, heritage cars, and show cars.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and service race cars, heritage cars, and show cars to the highest standards.
- Repair and maintain associated parts and pit equipment.
- Attend all heritage car-associated events and ensure the build, condition, and maintenance of sub-assembled components.
- Follow engineering procedures and protocols for assembly, operation, and safety.
- Accountable for the allocation and service life tracking of sub-assembled parts to heritage cars.
- Work closely with the design office and reliability engineers to resolve faults and ensure repeat occurrences are minimized.
- Ensure compliance with lifing and UIIL requirements.
- Assist and support chosen departments with turnarounds, engineering projects, car builds, and event support.
- Previous experience in a similar mechanical role within Formula 1, World Sports Cars, or F2 is preferred.
- Comprehensive mechanical understanding gained in Formula 1 motor racing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information.
- Basic fabrication and machining skills.
- Can-do positive approach and willingness to help others.
- Solid computer knowledge, preferred experience in Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and 3D.
