We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heritage Sub Assembly Technician to join our team at Haas F1 Team. As a key member of our Heritage department, you will be responsible for the assembly, servicing, and repair of our Heritage cars, ensuring they are in pristine condition for events and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and maintain Heritage cars to the highest standards, adhering to strict specifications and protocols.
- Collaborate with the Heritage Lead Mechanic and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficient project delivery.
- Mentor and train junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge in Heritage car assembly and maintenance.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality in Heritage car assembly and maintenance.
- Work closely with the Design Office and Reliability Engineers to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure all Heritage cars are presented to the highest standards, meeting corporate branding guidelines and expectations.
- Participate in pit stops and other events as required, demonstrating a strong understanding of Heritage car assembly and maintenance.
- GCSE or equivalent required; further education in a mechanical or related field desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar mechanical role within Formula 1, World Sports Cars, or F2 preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Basic fabrication and machining skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and information.
