Job Title: Lead Sub Assembly Technician

We are seeking an experienced technical leader to oversee the Sub Assembly Department in our factory. As a Lead Sub Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for managing a team of technicians to complete work to specified deadlines, ensuring high-quality assemblies and vehicles, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Sub Assembly Department, overseeing all sub-assemblies, including gearbox, differential, and suspension.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, meeting quality and deadline expectations.
  • Supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Work closely with the planning team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize the assembly process.
  • Manage the team's workload, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and management teams to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar senior or supervisory role within Motorsport, with a strong understanding of gearbox and motorsport sub-assemblies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
