Job Title: Heritage Sub Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heritage Sub Assembly Technician to join our team at Haas F1 Team. As a key member of our Heritage team, you will be responsible for the assembly, servicing, and repair of our Heritage cars, as well as the maintenance of associated parts and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and service Heritage cars to the highest standards, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functioning as intended.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on Heritage cars, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn-out components on Heritage cars, using a range of mechanical and fabrication skills.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all Heritage cars are presented in a clean and tidy condition, meeting the team's high standards.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all Heritage cars, including their history, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with the Heritage Lead Mechanic to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards and on time.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of Heritage car events, including pit stops, track days, and exhibitions.
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Heritage team.
Requirements:
  • GCSE or equivalent in a relevant subject, such as mechanics or engineering.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the motorsport industry, preferably with a Formula 1 team.
  • Strong mechanical skills, including fabrication, welding, and machining.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A thorough understanding of all Heritage cars, including their history, specifications, and technical requirements.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
