Psychology Teacher Opportunity

Wayman Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Teacher to join our esteemed independent school in Camden. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make a positive impact in a high-achieving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and informative psychology lessons to students in primary and secondary levels
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and wellbeing
  • Assess student progress through various assessment methods, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the psychology curriculum
  • Supervise and mentor students during practical experiments and research projects
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in psychology education and implement innovative teaching strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching psychology at the primary or secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
