Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality psychology lessons to primary and secondary level students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and wellbeing
- Assess student progress through a variety of assessment methods, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the psychology curriculum
- Supervise and mentor students during practical experiments and research projects
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in psychology education and implement innovative teaching strategies
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching psychology at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
