Purchase Ledger Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Huntress. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a busy accounts email inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner
  • Ensure all bank reconciliations for GBP & Euro bank accounts, Western Union and Petty Cash are completed monthly by the required deadline
  • Process credit card transactions and reconcile monthly, enter bank transactions, process supplier invoices and reconcile statements using Sage 200
  • Complete all purchase ledger processes including reconciling supplier invoices to the PO and resolving differences
  • Manage the staff expenses process, ensuring VAT receipts are supplied, and setting up bank payments
  • Provide a weekly update to the Finance Manager

The salary range for this position is £24k - £27k depending on experience, which will be pro-rata to 25-27.5 hours per week.
