We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Huntress. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a busy accounts email inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Ensure all bank reconciliations for GBP & Euro bank accounts, Western Union and Petty Cash are completed monthly by the required deadline
- Process credit card transactions and reconcile monthly using Sage 200, entering bank transactions, processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements
- Complete all purchase ledger processes including reconciling supplier invoices to the PO and resolving differences
- Manage the staff expenses process, ensuring VAT receipts are supplied, and setting up bank payments
- Provide a weekly update to the Finance Manager
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years recent experience in a similar role and be confident in their ability to take on a challenge in a busy and varied finance environment. If you are self-motivated with good communication and organisational skills, and able to think outside the box and think on your feet, then this could be the perfect role for you.
