Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Huntress. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining a busy accounts email inbox, ensuring all bank reconciliations are completed monthly, and processing credit card transactions using Sage 200.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in processing and reconciling financial transactions
  • Ensure all bank reconciliations for GBP & Euro bank accounts, Western Union, and Petty Cash are completed monthly by the required deadline
  • Process credit card transactions and reconcile monthly using Sage 200
  • Enter bank transactions, process supplier invoices, and reconcile statements
  • Complete all purchase ledger processes, including reconciling supplier invoices to the PO and resolving differences
  • Manage the staff expenses process, ensuring VAT receipts are supplied, and setting up bank payments
  • Provide a weekly update to the Finance Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a purchase ledger role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to think outside the box and think on your feet
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
