Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at Huntress. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining a busy accounts email inbox, ensuring all bank reconciliations are completed monthly, and processing credit card transactions using Sage 200.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in processing and reconciling financial transactions
- Ensure all bank reconciliations for GBP & Euro bank accounts, Western Union, and Petty Cash are completed monthly by the required deadline
- Process credit card transactions and reconcile monthly using Sage 200
- Enter bank transactions, process supplier invoices, and reconcile statements
- Complete all purchase ledger processes, including reconciling supplier invoices to the PO and resolving differences
- Manage the staff expenses process, ensuring VAT receipts are supplied, and setting up bank payments
- Provide a weekly update to the Finance Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a purchase ledger role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to think outside the box and think on your feet
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
