As a Career Transition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our young clients develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workforce. Your expertise will be essential in creating and maintaining work placements, building relationships with employers, and providing tailored support for each individual's development.

You will work closely with our team to identify opportunities for our young clients, assist them in applying for and securing work-based placements, and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure they receive the best possible support and guidance.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with SEND, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of our clients. Key Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with young people, parents, employers, and colleagues
  • Previous experience in job coaching or workplace learning is highly desirable
  • Clear, concise report writing and presentation skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of young people
  • Understanding and promotion of equality, diversity, and inclusion in all activities

Salary: £16 per hour
