PhD Researcher: 3D Multi-material Inkjet Printing for Functional Structures

About the Role:
The University of Nottingham is seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to investigate the development of 3D multi-material inkjet printing techniques for functional structures and electronics.
As a member of our research team, you will work closely with supervisors to develop novel materials, methods, and designs for controlling the 3D distribution of functional materials.
You will have access to leading-edge multi-material inkjet 3D printing equipment and expertise at the Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop control over bonding at interfaces between materials and layers.
- Investigate new engineering solutions through multi-material additive manufacturing.
- Collaborate with supervisors and research team to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physical Sciences.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
