PhD Project Overview
As a PhD researcher in our Centre for Additive Manufacturing, you will be part of a world-leading team developing innovative multi-material inkjet printing techniques for functional structures and electronics. Our research focuses on leveraging the capabilities of inkjet printing to create complex materials and designs with tailored properties.
Key Research Areas
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to contribute to the following key areas:
- Development of novel multi-material inkjet printing techniques for functional structures and electronics
- Investigation of bonding mechanisms at interfaces between materials and layers
- Design and development of new materials and designs for additive manufacturing
Requirements and Eligibility
To be eligible for this PhD position, you must have a strong background in a relevant field, such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physical Sciences. You should also have a keen interest in 3D printing and its applications, as well as excellent research and analytical skills.
