We are seeking a highly skilled Site Compliance Officer to join our Compliance Team at our construction site in Suffolk. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our construction activities are carried out in accordance with the Nuclear Site Licence (NSL), planning permissions, environmental consents, and lease obligations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on compliance matters to responsible managers, staff, contractors, and consultants.
- Identify and address compliance shortcomings, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Engage in desk-based work and active onsite inspections to ensure compliance standards are met.
- Conduct compliance assessments, monitor site activities, and produce monthly compliance dashboards.
- Facilitate self-assessments for compliance by responsible managers.
- Educate and mentor Sizewell C staff and contract partners on compliance obligations.
- Experience in auditing (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001) and a background in an engineering or construction environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
