The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic rail team at Sizewell C, a leading engineering contractor at the forefront of sustainable and innovative solutions.

Location: Leiston - Hybrid
Remuneration & Benefits: Negotiable salary dependent on experience: £55,000 to £65,000 Per Annum

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the planning and delivery of rail contracts or railway work packages throughout their full life cycle.
  2. Ensure compliance with Network Rail Standards and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, suppliers, and team members.
Requirements

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Business, Maths, or Project Management, with relevant industry experience and APM qualifications.

  1. Experience in design and delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs – Word, Excel, Outlook.
Working Environment

Working on a nuclear licensed site comes with associated risks and hazards, including nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals, and gases, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high-pressure circuits, steam, high noise, and vibration levels.
