Consultant Psychiatrist in Recovery (Chelt and North)

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Recovery team in Cheltenham and North Cotswolds. As a key member of our team, you will provide secondary care General Adult Psychiatric input to the Cheltenham environs, working closely with independent functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in acute psychiatry and a strong background in recovery working at consultant or advanced trainee level. You will be responsible for participating in a trust on-call rota, covering general adult, old age, and learning disability countywide, pro rata.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of services, providing care to around 110,000 people in primary care within the Cheltenham Integrated Locality Partnership. Our team is committed to supporting an organisational culture that is welcoming, inclusive, and diverse.

Person Specification
  • GMC Specialist Register, or eligible for such inclusion (within 6 months)
  • Higher specialist training or extensive UK experience in acute psychiatry
  • Experience of recovery working at consultant or advanced trainee level
