About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric oversight and leadership to multidisciplinary teams working with children and young people.
  • Support the development of clinical services and quality improvement initiatives in CAMHS.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to child mental health.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children and young people.
  • Participate in teaching and training activities to support the development of junior staff.
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and specialist registration in Child Psychiatry or Learning Disability.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in research, training, or public understanding of psychiatry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
