Job Title: HR Manager

Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to support the planning and governance of all processes related to human resources management (staff and Tutors) and organisation at local level, in line with objectives defined by the School Director and the guidelines of the Headquarters' Head of HR.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Talent Acquisition and Development:
    Support the School Director in identifying human resources needs aligned with business needs and objectives. Organise the research and selection of staff at local level, supporting the School Director and/or department heads in defining profiles and evaluating candidates; managing the onboarding process correctly; managing the appraisal process, study and plan training needs in order to develop staff knowledge and competences at local level, manage relations with external training providers, monitor training activities and end-of-course feedback.
  2. HR Administration:
    Management of the monthly payroll process; ensure that the local employment law and GDPR are respected; manage the agreements with external tutors; provide support for the correct handling of legal actions, aligned with the local law. Write and update policies for Boards and committees.
  3. Support Headquarters HR:
    Support Headquarters HR referent in correct updating of job descriptions, company organisation charts, organisational communication and processes in order to have a clear and transparent organisational model in line with business needs. Support in Degree Awarding Process for HR related aspects.
  4. Strategy and Employees Relations:
    Work closely with the School Director and the Head of HR to manage the school's HR strategy, related to employees' engagement activities to support retention and positive experience. Support the School Director and the Line Managers in managing employees' relations and performance management activities, through advising actions aligned with the UK employment law and culture.
  5. Budgeting, Forecast and Reporting:
    Support the School Director and co-operate with the finance department in the accurate elaboration of the HR budget, in monitoring HR forecast and outsourcing services (payroll, recruiting, training, legal consultancy). Support in the elaboration and analysis of periodical reporting, with the aim of monitoring the local performance and justifying any discrepancies. Share regular monthly HR KPIs reports for the School Director and the Headquarters.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  2. 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  3. Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  4. Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  5. Strong organisational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  6. Attention to detail and good judgement
