Activity Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Doncaster.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, wellbeing and social activities to children and young people aged 5-25, in line with assigned outlines for pilots or funded projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing engaging activity plans that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Ensuring effective behaviour management and addressing issues as necessary in a psychologically-informed context.
- Maintaining accurate records of activity delivery, including financial and efficiency records.
- Contributing to consultation around new provision, providing data and anecdotal evidence, and other input for cases for support.
- Organising and attending events to promote YMCA Doncaster's offer to young people and supporters as required.
- Ensuring participants are aware of the range of provision on offer from YMCA Doncaster.
- Managing equipment and resources effectively.
- Supervising placements and volunteers as needed.
- Ensuring safeguarding and other matters are handled according to YMCA Doncaster's procedures.
- Approaching the role with professionalism and maintaining appropriate boundaries with staff, clients, and others.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be adaptable, and have a passion for working with children and young people.
