Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Compliance Specialist to join our team in Stafford.

About the Role

As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring manufacturing quality compliance within our HVDC and FACTS manufacturing facility. This involves coordinating with production teams to conduct final inspection activities, conducting sample inspection activities throughout production to verify compliance to standards, and performing production auditing. Your expertise in identifying and documenting non-conforming parts will be crucial in maintaining product quality.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform final quality inspection and incoming inspection to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Utilize manual or automated measurement and testing equipment to assure product quality.
  • Collect data and feedback on the quality of inspected parts to manufacturing engineers and quality engineers.
  • Inspect raw materials and purchased parts to determine conformance to requirements.
  • Work with team members to find creative solutions to address complex problems.
  • Investigate defects and coordinate with engineering and supplier quality engineers to manage rework/scrap/investigation as necessary.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related work experience in quality or manufacturing, or 5+ years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience using manual and automated measurement and test equipment for dimensional inspection activities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage priorities and escalate concerns as necessary.
Desirable Characteristics

A strong desire to learn and keep updated on regulations and standards is essential. Experience in problem-solving methodologies (A3, 8D, etc.) is also beneficial.
