Responsibilities:
- Implement changes for test equipment to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement test equipment promptly to support manufacturing operations.
- Work within a team environment to resolve issues and meet manufacturing goals and milestones.
- Provide training and support to production operators for effective equipment usage.
- Update and create work instructions, risk assessments, and operator training documents.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for test processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Serve as the competent person for production, ensuring compliance and safe working practices.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in a manufacturing test environment with knowledge of automated test equipment.
- HNC/HND or Engineering Degree in an electrical/electronic-related discipline.
- Familiarity with HVDC product testing processes is advantageous.
- Understanding of IT requirements for test system integration, experience with Ni TestStand/LabVIEW, knowledge of advanced manufacturing methods, and familiarity with ISO standards are beneficial.
- Ability to work to deadlines without compromising quality.
- Proficient in English, written and verbal; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing test environment supporting and maintaining production test equipment is preferred.
Salary:$80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
