About the Role

C&C Group plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that capture the imagination of our customers and demonstrate our in-depth understanding of their business and training needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop training programs that are fun, engaging, and learner-focused, with a focus on changing behavior and conveying concepts in simple terms.
  • Deliver training programs that bring our WSET courses to life, adding your own personal style to the standard material.
  • Provide advice to our Sales and Channel Marketing teams to develop creative training solutions for our on-trade customers.
  • Write straightforward and relevant training materials using simple language and relevant terms.
  • Coordinate your own calendar and manage all logistical aspects of running workshops.

About You

  • You have a thorough understanding of the UK on-trade and perhaps come from a hospitality background.
  • You have experience of training others and are a confident communicator, both spoken and written.
  • You are organized and proactive, with a proven ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders at various levels.
  • You are proficient in standard IT programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent wine knowledge, with a minimum of WSET Level 3 and a Diploma highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the beer category and brewing process, with formal qualifications such as WSET Beer Level 2/Level 3 or Ciccerone highly desirable.
  • WSET Certified Educator Qualification desirable.
