At Marie Curie, we're committed to delivering exceptional end-of-life care and research. As our Deputy Fundraising Manager, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to maximize income growth across all fundraising disciplines in the region.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across the organization to identify opportunities and foster strong relationships with supporters, corporate partners, and volunteers.
  • Support Community Fundraisers to deliver income growth and develop an integrated fundraising plan to optimize Marie Curie's voluntary income.
  • Work with the Heads of Regional Fundraising to optimize the recruitment, development, and retention of Marie Curie supporters by implementing an audience-focused approach and culture across the region.
  • Develop and deliver a broad program of sector-leading events and virtual events to increase participation, engage supporters, and grow income.

Requirements

  • Proven track-record in working with geographically dispersed teams and achieving growth in performance and income.
  • Experience of embedding strategic thinking and planning, and an ability to turn a strategy into an operational plan, engaging others to create shared ownership of the plans.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent fundraising internally and externally.
  • Experience of building new sustainable relationships and improving the retention of existing supporters or clients.
  • Proactive attitude with a self-starter drive, thriving on identifying new opportunities and knowing how to build relationships and experiences to deliver long-term value and support.
