Job Title: Service Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Pybus Recruitment Ltd. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our service department.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, obtaining and recording vehicle details, and ensuring high standards of quality workmanship. You will also be required to liaise with the Senior Service Advisor/Service Manager on the progress of vehicles in the Workshop and maintain the Workshop loading system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers cheerfully and attend to their requirements promptly.
  • Obtain and record full customer/vehicle details and accurate description of work to be carried out.
  • Liaise with the Senior Service Advisor/Service Manager on the progress of vehicles in the Workshop.
  • Inform customers of any delay in completion.
  • Maintain the Workshop loading system.
  • Inform customers of any work which it has not been possible to carry out and arrange future appointment for completion.
  • Prepare both cash and account invoices.
  • Present cash customers with an invoice and receive payment before the vehicle is removed from the premises.
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints.
  • Ensure that information required for Warranty items is recorded on the Job Card.
  • Liaise with Parts Department regarding parts on order for vehicles in the Workshop/Service customers/forthcoming bookings.
  • File Job Cards and other documentation.
  • Help achieve sales targets as set out by the Aftersales Service Manager.
Requirements:
  • Motor Trade experience is essential.
  • Strong Customer Service/Administrative experience.
  • Motivation to progress into a more senior role with greater responsibilities.
  • Flexible approach and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a selling/customer service environment.
  • Fully driving licence.
  • Evidence of Right to Work in the UK.
