Fraud Safeguarding Support Volunteer

Lancashire Constabulary's Fraud Safeguarding Team is seeking a reliable and trustworthy volunteer to assist vulnerable victims of fraud. As a fraud safeguarding volunteer, you will play a vital role in reducing the risk of further exploitation and supporting those affected by fraud.
- You will assist victims in writing correspondence to banks, helping them to reclaim lost funds.
- You will install trueCALL devices to prevent nuisance calls and reduce re-victimization.
- You will represent the team at events, promoting awareness and education about fraud prevention.
- You will provide advice and guidance to individuals at risk of fraud, helping them to stay safe.
The estimated salary for this position is around £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of fraud prevention strategies. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
