At OpenText, we're shaping the future of digital transformation. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll partner with top companies to tackle complex issues and drive growth. Your expertise will be key to developing new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and increasing market share. You'll lead a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of teamwork and aggressive inside selling activities. Your responsibilities will include managing performance, growing talent, and advising management on key matters. You'll establish relationships with customers, manage costs, and set direction for your area of responsibility. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of sales professionals and develop a culture of teamwork and aggressive inside selling activities
  • Build customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage the performance of individual contributors and the overall team
  • Grow and develop talent within the organization through continuous learning
  • Manage an area, customers, and a team of company employees with well-defined daily work activities and priorities
  • Advise management and peers on matters of importance to the area(s) of responsibility

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Strong sales acumen and workforce management skills
  • Experience in escalation management, customer relationship-building, business analysis, and planning
  • General financial management and cost management skills
  • General project management skills
