About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Health Visitor to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will lead in supporting the wider health visiting teams to deliver high-quality services, focusing on perinatal and infant mental health. This role will involve working closely with colleagues to develop and implement strategies that promote excellent service delivery, improving outcomes for children and families.

Main Responsibilities

  1. To support the development of a training framework and quality assurance program, ensuring that policies and procedures are well-developed and evaluated.
  2. To work alongside clinical specialists to ensure that training, support, protocols, and policy agreed are embedded locally across the service.
  3. To lead in delivering Universal Health Services to designated areas within Barnet localities, reporting to the Team Leader/Locality Manager.

Requirements

  • Health Visiting Professional Qualification, with entry onto the 3rd part of the NMC Register.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Perinatal mental health training (desirable).

About You

  • Willingness to lead and support management of change.
  • Excellent communication skills: IT written and oral.
  • High levels of clinical skills, with the ability to identify, respond to, and evaluate health needs, including the delivery of public health programs.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £54,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including a generous pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
