Senior Procurement Executive

**Key Responsibilities**
The Procurement Manager will support the implementation of the Corporate Procurement Strategy, lead and manage the procurement & supply chain department, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Key responsibilities include managing procurement activity within an assigned area of spend, providing guidance to stakeholders on the most appropriate procurement strategies, and ensuring procurement practices align with regulations and ethical standards.
Additionally, the successful candidate will conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, and develop procurement strategies accordingly. A strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and strategic sourcing is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of all current procurement compliance for secure public service operation, knowledge of E-Procurement and E-Purchasing systems, and previous experience of managing spend analysis and contract register to identify opportunities. A degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management or a related field is required, as well as proven experience in a managerial role within a procurement setting.
