Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, educating, and assessing Band 6 Occupational Therapists, as well as overseeing the supervision and education of more junior support staff and student Occupational Therapists.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead evidence-based audit and research projects to develop and enhance personal and team's clinical practice within the area.
- Undertake comprehensive and standardized Occupational Therapy assessments addressing occupational performance and skill deficits in self-maintenance, productivity, and leisure.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development through participation in internal and external development opportunities, recording learning outcomes in a portfolio.
- Implement Trust and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
- Have experience working in a critical care or respiratory unit and as a Band 6 OT.
- Be committed to continuous professional development.
- Eligibility to work in the country to which you are applying.
