About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Health Analytics professional to join our team at Lane Clark & Peacock. As a key member of our Health Analytics Leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and development of our health analytics services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service Delivery
    • Lead on the delivery of client projects, including being the primary contact for client management and accountable for efficient project delivery.
    • Manage project teams, including coordination of study design and protocol development where appropriate.
  • Business Development
    • Support the growth of our existing analytics offering into new markets and extend the capabilities of our current Health Analytics' offering according to your expertise and track record.
    • Develop new services that leverage your skillset, experiences, and the existing skillsets across the department, particularly in the HEOR and Market Access Strategy teams.
  • Thought Leadership
    • Contribute to ongoing work in developing our Health Analytics sector presence through thought leadership.
    • Position LCP as a unique thought partner to support our commercial growth through working with pharmaceutical clients and key stakeholders such as HTA bodies.
  • Opportunity Generation
    • Generate new opportunities through thought leadership and/or early engagement with prospects.
    • Leverage existing contacts across the life science sector and upsell and cross-sell on existing clients/prospects through projects you lead.
  • Culture and People Development
    • Be a member of the Health Analytics Leadership team and actively contribute to the development of the team.
    • Line manage team members.
    • Support across HEOR and Market Access service area leads in the training and development of the team.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • More than 10 years of experience in the healthcare, life sciences, or consulting industries, with a track record of leading teams in delivering innovative work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education
    • A 2:1 degree or better in a numerate or science subject.
    • A relevant PhD degree (e.g. Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics) is desirable.
  • Skills and Qualities
    • An excellent grounding in real-world evidence with a desire to apply quantitative skills and rigorous science to solving real-world problems in health.
    • A demonstrable track record in prospecting and successful business development.
    • Commitment to providing excellent service to our clients and be experienced in leading consulting engagements.
    • Enjoyment in working as part of a small dynamic and growing team, comfortable leading on day-to-day project activities and managing the workload of junior members of staff.
    • Initiative in every aspect of your work and be creative in developing original solutions to problems.
    • Excellent communication skills along with good presentation skills and ability to explain complex issues to others.
    • Familiarity with real-world health data sources.
    • Experience of programming (e.g. R, Python) is desirable.
    • Ability to manage your work and coordinate the work of multi-disciplinary teams with ease.
