Physical Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Health Nurse to join our Adult Eating Disorders Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the assessment, early identification, and management of physical health needs of service users with eating disorders.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and implement individualized physical health care plans, run physical health monitoring clinics, and provide training and development to staff within the team. You will also be responsible for setting up a Medical Emergencies in Eating Disorders (MEED) care pathway and collaborating with colleagues in acute and primary settings to ensure seamless care for patients with physical health needs and eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Support with assessments, early identification, and management of physical health needs of service users with eating disorders.
- Run physical health monitoring clinics to assist with the management of outpatients with eating disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized physical health care plans.
- Provide training and development to staff within the Adult Eating Disorders team.
- Set up a Medical Emergencies in Eating Disorders (MEED) care pathway.
- Liaise with colleagues in acute and primary settings to ensure seamless care for patients with physical health needs and eating disorders.
