About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Community Public Health Nurse to join our Healthy Together School Nursing Team in Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to children and young people aged 5-11 within our 0-11 service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assess and identify evolving health needs and situations hazardous to health at both individual and community level.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive health and wellbeing in our communities.
  • Prioritize workload and demonstrate flexibility in response to urgent needs and organizing day-to-day work at an individual and team level.
Requirements
  • NMC registration in any branch of nursing.
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) School Nursing registration.
  • Ability to work effectively with sound judgment when dealing with complex emotional situations, family dynamics, and difficult environments.
