About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Community Public Health Nurse to join our Healthy Together School Nursing Team in Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and services to children and young people aged 5-11 within our 0-11 service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the unique needs of individuals, groups, and communities.
  • Provide professional nursing leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
  • Assess the health and social needs of individuals, groups, and communities to determine the most effective interventions and outcomes.
  • Recognize and respond to indicators of abuse in children and vulnerable adults, adhering to recognized policies and procedures.
  • Identify evolving health needs and situations hazardous to health at both individual and community levels, promoting positive health and wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • NMC registration in any branch of nursing.
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) School Nursing registration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing workload and demonstrating flexibility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
