Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
- Assess the health and social needs of individuals, groups, and communities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
- Recognize and respond to indicators of abuse, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals and communities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote health and wellbeing, developing and implementing effective strategies to address health inequalities.
- Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and policy developments, applying this knowledge to inform practice and improve outcomes.
Requirements:
- NMC registration in any branch of nursing and Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) School Nursing registration.
- Proven experience in public health nursing, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of health promotion and disease prevention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including children, young people, families, and community groups.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
