Supporting Children with Complex Needs

We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our successful teams across Cornwall, specifically in the St Austell area, to support children and young adults with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work with children and young adults who require individualized learning support, including those with Autism, Mental or Physical disabilities, ADHD/ADD, Visual or Hearing disabilities, and severe and profound learning disabilities.
- Support pupils in a mainstream classroom or educational setting with special educational needs (SEN).
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance pupil development and progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide a comprehensive support system.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, adapting to their individual needs.
- Recent experience working in a mainstream classroom or with children with SEN in an educational setting.
- A strong passion for enhancing pupil development and progress.
- An approachable and positive attitude, with excellent communication skills.
- Ideal candidates will have Team Teach training, but this is not essential.
- Confidence in working with small groups and 1:1.
- Flexible working weeks to suit your needs.
