Job Title: Apprenticeship Skills Coach

Join Total Training Provision as an Apprenticeship Skills Coach and play a vital role in shaping the future of our learners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and support to our apprentices, helping them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their chosen careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Facilitate Teaching and Learning: Design and deliver training programmes that meet the needs of our learners, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to achieve their apprenticeship goals.
  • Support and Deliver Functional Skills: Provide support and delivery of English, Maths, and ICT functional skills to our learners, helping them to develop the essential skills required for their chosen careers.
  • Complete Teaching and Learning Visits: Conduct regular teaching and learning visits to ensure our learners are progressing and achieving their goals, providing feedback and guidance to support their development.
  • Engage with Learners and Line Managers: Work closely with learners and their line managers to provide support and guidance, ensuring they have the resources and information they need to succeed.
  • Monitor and Review Learner Progress: Regularly monitor and review learner progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing targeted support to help them achieve their goals.
Requirements:
  • Deliver up to Level 7: Hold a relevant qualification at Level 7 or higher, or be willing to work towards achieving this level.
  • Relevant Occupational Qualification: Hold a relevant occupational qualification or equivalent in your sector of expertise.
  • Assessors Award: Hold a D32/33/TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award or equivalent.
  • Functional Skills: Hold Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Have experience of delivering apprenticeship training and support in a work-based environment.
  • Knowledge: Have knowledge of Government-funded training and be familiar with the apprenticeship standards and frameworks.
  • Communication and IT Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong IT skills, including the ability to use electronic portfolio systems.
