Job Title: Apprenticeship Skills Coach

Join Total Training Provision as an Apprenticeship Skills Coach and play a vital role in shaping the future of our learners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and support to our apprentices, ensuring they achieve their full potential and reach their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Facilitate Teaching and Learning: Design and deliver engaging training sessions that cater to the needs of our learners, focusing on the development of new knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
  • Support and Deliver Functional Skills: Provide support and deliver English, Maths, and ICT functional skills training to our learners, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Complete Teaching and Learning Visits: Conduct regular teaching and learning visits to monitor learner progress, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Engage with Learners and Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with learners, line managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Monitor and Review Learner Progress: Regularly review learner progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address any challenges.
  • Manage Administration Duties: Complete administrative tasks efficiently, ensuring all paperwork is completed on time and to the required standard.
Requirements:
  • Deliver up to Level 7: Hold a relevant qualification at Level 7 or higher.
  • Relevant Occupational Qualification: Possess a Level 3 occupational qualification or equivalent in your sector of expertise.
  • Assessors Award: Hold a D32/33/TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award or equivalent.
  • Functional Skills: Possess Functional Skills in Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Have experience of delivering apprenticeship training and support in a work-based environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong IT knowledge and skills.
