Regional Sales Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for mechanical handling related equipment in the North of the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience selling mechanical handling products or technical mechanical engineering solutions, preferably within manufacturing, food, biomass waste/power generation, or similar industries.
Main Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities through sales and marketing activities, manage existing key accounts to ensure continued growth and retention, maintain sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets, provide pre-sales technical assistance and end solution/application support for all customer needs/requirements, offer after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required to customers across various industries, work remotely/field-based covering North of the UK and Scotland, liaise with various engineering departments.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within a mechanical engineering environment, proven sales experience in industries such as construction, mining, manufacturing, food, biomass waste/power generation, full clean driving license, willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North of the UK, including Scotland.
