Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Dearham Primary School. This is a key role in providing a welcoming and safe environment for staff, students, and visitors.
The successful candidate will study towards the CACHE Level 2 or 3 Support Teaching and Learning in school and provide support and guidance to children, young people, and those engaged with them.
The estimated salary for this position is £6,400 per annum (FTE). The working pattern is part-time, Monday to Friday term time, with hours of work from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
This role involves promoting effective participation, enhancing learning, and raising aspirations to help all children achieve their full potential. You will also play a key role in supporting teaching colleagues.
To be considered for this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be well-organised, self-motivated, and have up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the practices and procedures within education relating to the welfare, safety, and education of pupils. Additionally, you should have an understanding of principles of child development and learning processes.
