Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing an advanced level clinical pharmacy service to the Oncology and Haematology departments.
Main Duties of the Job
- Provide an advanced level clinical pharmacy service to the Oncology and Haematology departments under the direction of the Macmillan Pharmacist.
- Support the Aseptics Team by monitoring and checking chemotherapy.
- Helping transform the Aseptics Team, develop leadership and management skills whilst being an active member of the Oncology Pharmacy team to help meet the overall strategic objectives of the team in the provision of pharmaceutical care for cancer and medical patients.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist (General Pharmaceutical Council)
- Bachelor/Master of Pharmacy or equivalent
Experience
- Relevant hospital pharmacy experience
- Relevant oncology/haematology clinical pharmacy experience
- Experience of NHS commissioning arrangements
Knowledge
- Up to date knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics in oncology/haematology
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Able to work without supervision but knowing when to ask for help
- Team player, working/supporting others to ensure smooth running
- Methodical, attention to detail
- Honest, trustworthy, reliable and discrete, approachable
