Learning Assistant Role

Annual Salary Expectation: £32,000 - £44,000 based on experience and qualifications in Shrewsbury.

Regular working hours, Monday to Friday.

About the Position:

We are partnering with a specialist school in the UK to find an experienced Learning Assistant who can provide support to students with diverse learning needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the specific needs of students.
  2. Assess and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure continued development.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages learning.
  4. Implement behavior management techniques in line with the school's policies.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualifications.
  2. Prior experience working in a specialist or SEN school setting is highly valued.
  3. A deep understanding of special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. A patient and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.
