We are working with a leading food retail business, seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team in the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals to take on a challenging role within a fast-paced organization that has achieved significant growth over five years.

As Procurement Manager, you will lead a team of buyers and executives to ensure value for money across direct and indirect spends. You will maintain optimum service levels and quality while managing the procurement process from evaluation to contracts.

Your management responsibilities will involve motivating and guiding a team, including conducting regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.

You will be responsible for sourcing and managing all aspects of spend throughout the business, both direct and indirect. This includes creating alternative source options to reduce risk in the supply chain while maintaining quality.

A key aspect of this role will be managing commercial relationships with suppliers, as well as monitoring monthly updates and reporting on measured KPIs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in food or ingredients buying, be able to work with numerous suppliers, and constantly seek best value and service delivery.

This is a hybrid role with two days a week in the office near Dunstable. The successful candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including private healthcare, 26 days' holiday, enhanced parental leave, and company-funded summer and winter parties.
