**Procurement Lead Role Overview**:

- **Strategic Sourcing Leadership**: Spearhead major expenditure projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders for optimal outcomes.
- **Compliance Management**: Ensure all activities align with regulations and internal policies, maintaining integrity and transparency.
- **Contract Development**: Create high-quality contracts with strategic suppliers, emphasising value for money solutions.
- **Risk Mitigation**: Identify and address risks throughout procurement processes, maximising opportunities for success.
- **Savings Target Achievement**: Drive delivery towards annual savings targets, demonstrating fiscal responsibility.
- **Relationship Building**: Foster strong relationships internally and externally for effective collaboration.
- **Guidance and Mentorship**: Provide expert advice on procurement policies and procedures, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
- **Deputisation**: Act as deputy for the Procurement Manager when required, showcasing versatility and readiness.
- **Organisational Support**: Travel to various sites within our organisation as needed, ensuring accessibility and support.
- Experience leading procurement functions, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with MRP operating systems and procurement of packaging components and raw materials preferred.
- CIPS qualification or equivalent experience desired.
- Highly organised, results-focused, with strong influencing and challenging abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £37,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
