  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to our childcare staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, such as social services, education, and healthcare providers, to ensure that our children and young people receive the support they need.
  • Ensure that all aspects of childcare are delivered in a way that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our children and young people.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our children and young people, their families, and our staff to ensure that we are providing a supportive and nurturing environment.
  • Ensure that all aspects of childcare are delivered in accordance with our commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a childcare or residential care setting, with a focus on leadership and management.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, families, and staff.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of childcare professionals, providing supervision, guidance, and support as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of our childcare services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies, such as social services, education, and healthcare providers.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with a strong understanding of the policies and procedures that underpin this.
