Prime Nurture Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Childcare Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure that all aspects of childcare are delivered in accordance with our policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our childcare services, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Work closely with our management team to develop and implement strategies to improve the overall quality of our services.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and support to our childcare staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality care.
- Collaborate with external agencies, such as social services, education, and healthcare providers, to ensure that our children and young people receive the support they need.
- Ensure that all aspects of childcare are delivered in a way that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our children and young people.
- Develop and maintain relationships with our children and young people, their families, and our staff to ensure that we are providing a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Ensure that all aspects of childcare are delivered in accordance with our commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of working in a childcare or residential care setting, with a focus on leadership and management.
- Strong knowledge of childcare policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, families, and staff.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of childcare professionals, providing supervision, guidance, and support as needed.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of our childcare services and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies, such as social services, education, and healthcare providers.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection, with a strong understanding of the policies and procedures that underpin this.
