Job Title: Senior Residential Care Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Care Manager to join our team at Chase Medical. As a Senior Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our care team, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain good quality practice in Residential care and education.
  • Be first point of contact for any concerns, complaints, or safeguarding issues.
  • Liaise with Local Authorities, School, Health and other professionals to ensure the very best outcomes for the young people we care for.
  • Ensure the positive development of young people in care.
  • Use the community, supporting the social and learning aspects of young people.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team.
  • Manage staff welfare, staff absence, etc.
  • Deal with budget management.
  • Ensure the home is Health and Safety compliant.

Requirements:

  • Hold an NVQ Level 5 in Residential Childcare, or be working towards it.
  • Have experience working with OFSTED.
  • Have experience working in social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) sector
  • Good understanding of BESD children including strategies used to manage challenging behaviour
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in Children's residential care.
  • Experience working with children aged 8 -15 years
  • Have a Full UK Driving Licence.
