Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Trainee Property Manager. You will work closely with our Senior Property Managers to develop your skills and knowledge in property management, including budgeting, accountancy, and customer service.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Assist with the administration of minor works processes, including record keeping, instructing contractors, progress chasing, diary keeping, correspondence, processing invoices, and filing.
  2. Liaise with lessees, contractors, and surveyors.
  3. Provide administrative support to the property manager when they are away from the office.
  4. Deal with telephone calls, correspondence, and any other support tasks as required.
  5. Prepare and issue budgets for properties within the portfolio and monitor expenditure.
  6. Agree year-end accounts for properties with the client and deal with enquiries as they arise.
  7. Carry out regular visits to properties within the portfolio and carry out EGM/AGMs.
  8. Appoint and manage the performance of cleaners, grounds maintenance, and other contractors.

Requirements

  • Driving license as you will be required to travel to sites as and when needed.
  • Some Block Property experience is required. Maybe you are an Assistant Property Manager looking for that next step up.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Software (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional and efficient telephone manner.
  • Willingness to undertake continuous training and personal development.

Salary

£42,000 per annum.
