Private Equity Transaction Management Associate

Our Investment Services and Transaction Management team leverages data and technology to provide comprehensive investment services and transaction management support to our Private Equity investment teams.
As a key player in the deal lifecycle, the Transaction Management team collaborates closely with investment professionals to ensure the smooth and timely closing of investments across various GIC Private Equity strategies. This involves a deep understanding of alternative investments, legal documentation, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Your Role as an Associate, Transaction Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties regarding transaction processes and policies.
- Manage KYC/AML clearances and resolution of queries for external counterparties such as legal counsel, custodians, and administrators.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate timely exchange of KYC documentation, funding for new investments, evidence of deal closings, and resolution of related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of closing documentation within the document management system.
- Ensure up-to-date contact lists for all investments.
- Assist with notarization of documents and procurement of signatures as required.
- Contribute to departmental data collection initiatives.
- Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Transaction Management Team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the investment sector and general knowledge of private equity investing.
- Understanding of private transaction documentation, company secretarial practices, and the nuances of PE transactions.
- Appreciation for the commercial and regulatory environment surrounding private sector transactions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deals simultaneously.
- 3-4 years of experience in middle office support, encompassing investment documentation, structuring, and operations.
