Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transactional Associate to join our top-ranked Private Equity team in London. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising private equity firms and financial sponsors on complex cross-border transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on Mergers and Acquisitions, buyouts, and distressed acquisitions
  • Handle Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions and private equity transactions
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to deliver high-quality work
  • Engage in business development and firm promotion to drive growth and success
  • Contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers to develop their skills and expertise

Requirements

  • Solicitor qualified in England & Wales with 1-4 years of PQE in private equity transactions
  • Previous experience at a leading private equity practice in London or a comparable market
  • Excellent drafting, negotiating, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions and deliver high-quality work under pressure
  • A strong corporate training background and academics, and a non-jumpy CV showing demonstrable technical ability on PE backed transactions
